Bolt-On Valve Jacketing

  • Fabricated from a metal plate, allowing the entire jacket to serve as the heating chamber

  • A larger heating chamber means more heat to the component.

  • Designed to be versatile, compatible with valves, pumps, strainers and most other process piping components.

  • All welding performed by personnel certified to ASME section IX

  • ASME section XIII Div. 1 used as a guideline for jacket design

  • ASME section VIII Div. 2 design by analysis services are available upon request (See analysis examples)

  • All jackets are tested before shipment.

  • Standard Rating: 150 PSIG at 650°F (other ratings available).

  • Standard Materials: U.S. sourced carbon steel, T-304 or T-316 stainless steel.

    • Many other alloys are available.

  • Standard Jacket Ports:

    • ½”-2 ½” Valves: ½” FNPT Coupling

    • 3”-6” Valves: ¾” FNPT Coupling

    • 8”+ Valves: 1” FNPT Coupling

    • Other port types (including flanged ports) and sizes are available

  • Flextrol does not charge pattern fees.
